Jen Risch played four seasons with the Arrows, starting in the program’s first season (2001). With no history, Risch established a majority of career and season records, most of which still stand, except a couple that have been surpassed during the 2011 soccer season.
Risch scored 40 career goals and still holds the record with 20 career assists. At the time of her induction, her 40 goals and 100 career points each rank third all-time. She led the team in goals each of her four seasons with the Arrows, and in 2003 she ranked seventh in the conference in goals per game and was tied for seventh in points per game. That season she guided the team to an 8-8 season, in the team’s third season.
Risch was a two-time American Mideast Conference Honorable Mention as a freshman and sophomore, and a two-time All-AMC Second Team selection as a junior and senior. She had a career best 13 goals as a junior, which ranks in a tie for third in goals for a single-season, and she posted 29 points which ranks fifth for a season. As a senior, she set the school single-season record with 10 assists.
Risch graduated in the spring of 2005 with a degree in Business Administration.
