Ursuline College Athletic Hall of Fame
Cathy has served as the Head Athletic Trainer for our 11 athletic teams since 2005. She has been with Ursuline Athletics from NAIA through their NCAA transition.
On top of her regular duties, she has spent three seasons battling ever-changing COVID-19 protocols from the national, collegiate and local levels to make sure student-athletes and staff were adhering to proper guidelines for safety. An American Red Cross certified instructor, she provides the Coaches and Staff with up to date courses and training so that they are all actively CPR, AED and First Aid Certified.
Cathy has instituted numerous initiatives over her career, including a snack center for the student-athletes, mental health check ins and resource centers, as well as work study opportunities for students . Heading the AT department from day one, she ran an efficient program through a mobile trailer after the athletic facilities were destroyed in the 2013 tornado.
In 2023, Cathy was the recipient of the Sister Pat McCaffrey Staff Excellence Award - recognizing the outstanding work and contribution she makes to the Ursuline community.
