Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC)
The Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) consists of representatives from each intercollegiate team. It is the goal of SAAC to be the student-athlete voice to the athletic administration; provide a bridge between the student-athletes and the Ursuline community; undertake projects which will benefit student-athletes and the community; and to represent Ursuline College student-athletes and what they stand for. All student-athletes are encouraged to speak with their team's representative and get involved in the various projects the group is involved with. In the past, the group has focused on community service and engagement, student-athlete welfare, career development and fellow athletic team support. SAAC continues to grow and gain a more powerful voice. With strong leadership and focus, SAAC will strive to improve the lives of student-athletes on campus and in the community. If you would like to become involved with SAAC and their projects, see your SAAC representative, coach or the Compliance Coordinator.

Make-A-Wish Foundation

NCAA Division II SAAC established their partnership with this foundation in 2003 with the Great Midwest Athletic Conference and Ursuline College playing a large role in the ongoing initiative. The Make-A-Wish Foundation grants wishes to children with life-threatening illnesses. Division II has raised more than $6.8 million toward granting the wishes of children with over 785 “wishes” granted through contributions from the NCAA partnership.

In the 2024-2025 academic year, the Arrows SAAC raised over $1300 towards the cause. To learn more about Division II's partnership with Make-A-Wish, visit the link HERE!
