Follow Ursuline Athletics on Facebook Bob Kahn Invitational ResultsOBERLIN, Ohio – The Ursuline College track and field team won Oberlin College's Bob Kahn Invitational on Saturday (April 5) and shattered four school records in the process. UC finished with 145 team points, ahead of Wooster's 125.5. Oberlin took third with 121 points to edge Edinboro (102) for third place whle Lake Erie (89.5) and John Caroll (84) rounded out the six-team field.
Here are some highlights from Saturday's meet:

- Junior sprinter Keyana Roberts won the 100 and 200 with school record times. She placed first of 18 student-athletes in the 100 with a time of 12.28, besting Mel Zupec's previous top mark of 12.54. Roberts covered the 200 in 25.39, topping the other 19 athletes in the field as well as her own school record of 25.48 set earlier this season.

- Freshman Aminah Bercheni took fourth in the 100 meter dash with a time of 12.97.

- Sophomore Bea Indurain won the long jump when she was measured at 5.19 meters, the second best leap in school history. It topped her previous best of 5.15 meters, set at the same meet last year. She also set a new school record in the triple jump when she took third (10.93 meters). Junior Brittany Kempf owned the previous school record (10.62 meters).

- In the 100 meter hurdles, Indurain was the top collegiate with a time of 15.04. The only runner to beat her across the finish line was UC assistant coach Maddy Outman who was running unattached. Indurain also excelled in the 400 meter hurdles as she took fourth with a time of 1:10.41, a new personal best and the fourth best time ever run by an Arrow. Rookie Chelsea Rice was timed at 1:11.44, the fifth best time in program history.

- Sophomore Nicole Burlinson broke her own school record in the 1,500 meter run. Saturday's time of 4:46.10 was tops in the 19-participant race and bested her previous top time of 4:54.72. She also took second in the 400 meter run (59.29) while freshman Alexis DeVaughn placed sixth (1:02.86.)

- Freshman Ali Mowrey joined juniors Tori Berg and Rachel Cole in chipping in points in the throwing events. Cole scored three points in her first time competing in the javelin while Mowrey and Berg scored seven points each in the hammer, discus and shot put.
The Arrows are scheduled to compete again next weekend at the
All-Ohio Invitational, hosted by the
University of Cincinnati.
