The Ursuline College Women's Cross Country team competed at the Otterbein Invite, placing 9th out of 13 scoring teams.
Katie Lane led the way, placing 24th overall out of 139 finishers with a new personal best in the 6k of 24:04.36. Her performance moves her up one spot to 8th in program history for the all-time top 10 list.
Dominique Weisz also ran a personal best, finishing in 24:25.55 to place 32nd overall and move into the 10th spot for all-time in the 6k.
Jocelyn Dornbirer recorded a personal best of 24:52.13 to place 44th overall. Rounding out the top five finishes on the day were Angelys Caballero- Higgins in a time of 27:44 and
Hannah Pearson with a personal best of 27:48.
The Ursuline College Men's Cross Country team also competed at the Otterbein Invite, finishing 11th out of 14 scoring teams.
Thelonius Lucien led the way for the Arrows, placing 41st overall in a field of 216 runners with a personal best of 27:41.02 in the 8k. He was followed by teammate
Austin Sneed, who placed 44th in 27:45.99.
Ryan Jeanneret crossed in 27:56.80 to finish 55th overall, while
Micah Earnest and
Larry Stamper closed out the top five for the Arrows on the day.

The Men's and Women's Cross Country teams compete next on Saturday, September 27th at Youngstown State University XC Meet #2. The women start their race at 10AM EST and the men start at 10:30AM EST.
