The Ursuline College women's and men's cross-country teams placed fourth overall out of six teams at the Youngstown State Cross Country Meet #2 on Saturday, September 27. The Arrows finished in front of Lake Erie College and Central State University.
On the women's side,
Katie Lane led the way with a time of 20:26.93 to place 32nd overall out of 68 runners. Behind Lane was
Jocelyn Dornbirer in 20:46.47 for 37th,
Dominique Weisz in 21:31.57 for 43rd, and
Kayla Kephart in 21:37.33 for 44th. The fifth scorer was
Gisele Cabrera with a time of 23:28.72 in 56th, followed closely by teammate
Kennedy Outland in 23:39.31 for 57th to round out the top performances.
On the men's side, the Arrows ran a true five-mile race, a little longer than the 8k they competed in two weeks ago at Otterbein. Leading the way again was
Thelonius Lucien with a time of 27:57.08 to place 36th overall out of 72 runners. Right behind him was
Austin Sneed in 28:05.33, while
Ryan Jeanneret placed 42nd in 28:33.84. Rounding out the fourth and fifth scorers were
Micah Earnest and
Larry Stamper, who both had huge personal bests on the day to close out the scoring for the Arrows.
The Arrows will now take a few weeks to train for the Oberlin College Inter-Regional Rumble on Saturday, October 18, 2025.
