The Ursuline College Women's Cross Country Team closed out the season at the NCAA Division II Midwest Championships in Kenosha, Wisconsin hosted by UW-Parkside in the women's 6k championship race.
The Arrows had four runners compete individually at the championships. Senior
Jocelyn Dornbirer led the way with a personal best performance in the final cross country race of her career, finishing 146th overall in a time of 24:21. Dornbirer improved her standing with the 10th best time in program history for the 6k.
Katie Lane placed 175th with a time of 25:43, finishing second on the team for the Arrows on the day. Teammates
Dominique Weisz and
Kayla Kephart finished back to back in 185th and 186th place, crossing the line in 26:27 and 26:30, respectively. The Arrows concluded the cross country season with multiple top 10 performances in school history and a season highlight of placing third overall at the Oberlin Women's Open, earning a team plaque.
The Arrows will now transition to the indoor track and field season, opening on December 3 at the Hillsdale Multi Meet. Complete results:
