Ursuline College cross country competed at the NCAA Midwest Cross Country Championships in Kenosha, WI on a cold and snowy day to conclude the season.
Emma Esteves led the way with her 50th place finish with a time of 22:58. Esteves is the highest finisher at the NCAA Midwest Regional Championships in program history, breaking the tie she had with Michelle Klim placing 55th overall with her performance in Kenosha, WI back in 2013.
Alaysia Brooks had a great championship meet with a time of 24:30, finishing 141st. This finish was 32 places better from her 173rd finish a year ago.
A'Zaria Thomas placed 146th with a time of 24:40. Rounding out the Arrows top five,
Emma Smith placed 194th with a time of 26:42 moving up 13 spots from a year ago and
Ciani Kensey closed out her cross country career at UC with a time of 27:10 placing 201st place, which is her highest finish at NCAA Midwest Championship meet in her career.
The Arrows placed 25th overall out of 32 placing teams in the 6k race, which is the second highest team finish in school history.
