The Ursuline College Cross Country team competed at the Wayne State Warriors Challenge on Saturday. The race featured three of the top 26 teams in country and regional rank teams from the Atlantic & Midwest region.
The Arrows finished 14 of 14 scoring teams.
Emma Esteves led the way with a 20th place finish out of 158 runners with a time of 22:58 in the Women's 6k race.
Alaysia Brooks finished with a new personal best of 24:10, placing 55th overall and improving her 8th all-time mark in program history.
A'Zaria Thomas ran 24:43 on the day with a 78th finish. Rounding out the top five for Ursuline was
Ciani Kensey's personal best of 26:42 and
Emma Smith's 26:44 finish.
The Arrows will be off for the next two weeks as they get ready for the Great Midwest Athletic Conference Cross Country Championship on November 5th at host institution University of Findlay. Â
