The Ursuline College golf team opened the spring season by hosting the five-team Ursuline Invitational at Tanglewood Country Club in Chagrin Falls.
 
Senior Kennedy Fay finished tied for 14^th overall after shooting a two-day total of 186. On day one, she shot a 96 and came back to shoot a 90 on day two.
 
Sophomore Alyssa Miller finished tied for 20^th with a two-day total of 200. Miller shot 101 on day one and finished day two with a 99.
 
Malone won the two-day event with a total team score of 732 ahead of Capital University who shot 750 as a team.
 
Ursuline will compete at the Ohio Northern Spring Invitational next weekend in Ada, Ohio.
