The women's golf team traveled to Pawley's Island in South Carolina for a two-day golf tournament on March 9th and 10th. The team placed 11th out of 11 teams with a total of 744 strokes. During the first 18 holes, the team had 369 strokes (+81 over par) and in the second round they had 375 strokes (+87 over par). Â
Zaria Hampton finished first for the Arrows, tying for 34th place out of 63 golfers. Hampton shot a total of 169 strokes (+25 over par). She was consistent throughout with an 84 in the first round and a 85 in the second round. Richtier Hanslkie tied for 50th place with a total of 180 strokes (+36 over par), shooting an 87 in the first 18 holes and a 93 in the second 18 holes. Meghan Zann tied for 54th place with a total of 185 strokes (+41 over par), shooting 93 and 92 for each round, respectively. Alayna Smith rounded out the Arrows with an overall score of 210 stroke (+66 over par), tying for 61st place overall. Smith shot 104 in the first round and 106 in the second round. Â
The Arrows will compete next on March 16th at the University of Findlay Spring Invitational. The tournament will take place at the Boone's Trace National Golf Club (Richmond, KY). Â
