The Arrows golf team competed this past Friday at the Tiffin University and Walsh University Spring Christmas Classic. The team competed in a total of 2 rounds at the Hidden Creek Golf Course (Lima, OH). The team finished 7th overall out of 8 teams competing in the tournament.
Zaria Hampton was the leader for the Arrows with a 20th place finish out of 41 golfers. She shot a 157, going 79 in the front half and 78 in the back half. Out of 36 holes, Hampton shot 19 pars, 15 bogeys, and 2 birdies. She shot +13 over par for the tournament. Richtier Hanslkie finished close behind with a 24th place finish. Hanslkie shot 162 and +18 over par. She had 10 pars, 18 bogeys, and 5 birdies. Meghan Zann finished in 36th place with 183 strokes. Zann shot +39 over par with 10 pars, 14 bogeys, and 1 birdie. Alayna Smith rounded out the Arrows in 40th place, shooting 200. Smith had 2 pars and 17 bogeys during the tournament.
The team will compete for the last time during the 2025-2026 season at the G-MAC Championships on April 16th- April 18th. The championship tournament will be held at the Belterra Resort in Florence, IN.
