Canton, OH--The Ursuline College women's golf team claimed first place at the Cavalier Invitational Thursday, led by individual champion Zaria Hampton. 

The Arrows posted a team score of 326 to finish first among eight teams, finishing 34 strokes ahead of second-place Tiffin, which carded a 360. 

Hampton captured the individual title, finishing first among the 39-golfer field with a one-round score of 73. Richtier Hanslkie followed closely behind with a 76 to earn runner-up honors. 

Ursuline placed two additional golfers inside the top 15. Elina Beyer tied for sixth with a score of 86, while Alayna Smith carded a 91 to tie for 14th. 

Meghan Zann rounded out the Ursuline scoring lineup, tying for 22nd with a score of 97. 

Up next: The Arrows return to action September 28-29 when they travel to Fairmont, West Virginia, to compete in the Senator Larry Edgell Invitational at Green Hills Country Club.
