The women's Arrows golf team traveled to compete in the Findlay Spring Invitational (Richmond, KY) this past weekend. The tournament was held at the Boone's Trace National Golf Club, featuring 18 holes and a 5,207-yard course.
Zaria Hampton, UC's top finisher, tied for 38th place out of 82 golfers. During round one she had a score of 84 and then followed with a 79 in round two. Hampton finished +19 above par overall. Richtier Hanslkie finished in 69th place overall. She scored 101 in the first round and 79 in the second round. She shot par on 13 holes out of 36. Alayna Smith finished in 79th place for the Arrows with a 105 in round one and a 92 in the second round. Smith finished +53 over par during the tournament. Meghan Zann rounded out in 81st place for UC. Zann had scores of 101 and 103, respectively and hit par on 7 holes.
The Arrows will return to the fairways on March 23rd for a two-day tournament for the Vulcan Fire Classic. It will be hosted at the Lone Pine Country Club (Washington, PA).
