2013 Outdoor Season: Fought injuries to compete in two events at two separate meets…cleared 1.37 meters in the high jump and measured at 4.47 meters in the long jump at Oberlin’s Bob Kahn Invitational (April 6)…cleared 1.40 meters in the high jump and measured at 4.49 meters in the long jump at John Carroll’s Twilight Meet (April 19).

2011-12: Versatile athlete for the Arrows in her first year of participation after missing her first season due to injury…only competed during the outdoor season because she doubles as a member of the UC basketball team…won the high jump at the OIC Championships (April 21)…recorded her quickest 100 meter hurdles time (16.16) in the finals at the Roanoke Invitational on March 17…cleared 1.60 meters to establish a new school record in the high jump at the Roanoke Invitational…at the Bob Kahn Invitational (April 7), she leaped 4.89 meters in the long jump…threw the shot put 8.37 meters at the Bonnie Benson Memorial (April 14)…also tossed the javelin 20.50 meters at the Benson Memorial and improved to 25.94 meters at the OIC/AMC Invitational Championships one week later.

2010-2011: Unable to compete due to injury.

GlenOak High School: Competed in the hurdles and jumping events...ran a personal best of 16.3 in the 100 hurdles and 48.4 in the 300 hurdles...she had a personal best distance of 16.6 feet in the long jump and 5'2 in the high jump...also participated in basketball, volleyball and cross country…selected to the Ohio High School Coaches Association Scholarship Society.

Personal: Born March 10, 1992 in Canton, Ohio…daughter of Joseph Cappello and Jackie Sallee...has four siblings: Kelly and Izabella Cappello, Thomas and Tyler Sallee...majoring in early childhood education...Dean's List student at Ursuline College.
