Ursuline College Athletics

2013 Outdoor Season: Competed in seven events over the course of four meets…finished second on the team in both the hammer (32.43 meters) and shot put (11.18 meters)…her best performances of the season both came at Oberlin’s Bob Kahn Invitational (April 6)…the 32.43 meters in the hammer throw placed her fifth in school history at the conclusion of the season.

2012-13 Indoor Season: Third on the team in the shot put with a toss of 11.39 meters, set at the Baldwin Wallace Mid-February Meet on Feb. 8…she placed fifth in that crowded field.

Woodridge High School: Played basketball and participated in track and field all four years of high school…also played volleyball her first three years…team captain of the basketball team in 2011-12, captain of the track and field team as a senior and a volleyball captain as a junior…earned a total of eight varsity letters…earned All-Portage Trail Conference honorable mention status in track and field…in basketball, she was named the team Most Valuable Player as a senior.

Personal: Born October 27, 1992 in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio…daughter of Darren and Diane Gilles…has two siblings, Hannah and Andrew Gilles…pre-med student…honor roll student at Woodridge High School.
