Soccer Team Volunteers at the Kids' Book Bank

Cleveland, OH- The Arrows soccer team volunteered on April 21st at the Kids' Book Bank. The team sorted stickers, and packed and prepped books for distribution to organizations in the Greater Cleveland area. Books are donated to the Kids' Book Bank and are sent out every month to children.

The Kids' Book Bank, established in 2015, developed a mission to "foster literacy and a love of reading by distributing free books to children in collaboration with community partners. The Cleveland Kids' Book Bank is working to ensure all kids in Greater Cleveland have books to build their own home libraries. A book in the hands of a child is a magical thing! Reading fuels imaginations, teaches empathy, supports academic achievement, and helps parents build bonds with their kids".

The company has distributed over 5 million free books to 100,000+ kids in the Greater Cleveland area with over 13,000 volunteers throughout their years. The organization has more than 1,800 partners for the children and families they serve. They have a huge presence in the community outreach by going to more than 50 events throughout Cleveland in the summer to give people the opportunity to pick out free books to build their own libraries at home.
