Soccer Adds Woofter to Coaching Staff

The Ursuline College Athletic Department has announced the new hiring of Sheridyn Woofter, assistant soccer coach.

Woofter came from Coker University (Hartsville, SC) where she was the women's assistant soccer coach from 2023-2026. She assisted in leading the team to a 10-4-4 overall record during the 2025-2026 season. Woofter helped coach many key players including two back-to-back SAC Freshman of the Year, two First-Team All-Conference players, four Second-Team players, and three Third-Team players during her time at Coker.

Also, at Coker University, Woofter trained the team to earn a SAC playoff appearance for the second year in a row, finishing 4th overall in the conference. She assisted in recruiting, practice plans, coached individual group practice sessions, and kept track of student-athletes' educational performances to abide by NCAA regulations.

Previously, to Coker, Woofter was an assistant strength coach at Paradise Sports Performance (North Canton, OH). While at Paradise Sports Performance, she trained athletes in specified sports, helped create appropriate programs for athlete development, and ran group classes.

Woofter graduated from Coker University with a Masters of Science in Management and Leadership as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Health and Science from Muskingum University.

Athletic Director, Cindy McKnight said "Woofter is a perfect fit for our athletic department and for the soccer program. With her knowledge and experience I have no doubt that she will help build and advance our athletes."
