The Ursuline College Track & Field team concluded the 2025 outdoor season at the NCAA Championships in Pueblo, Colorado, with
Alaysia Brooks competing in her final meet for the Arrows. Brooks placed 20th overall in the 800m with a time of 2:13.87. She entered the meet ranked 21st in the nation in the event this outdoor season.
Brooks completed a historic career at UC, leaving as the 2024 NCAA National Champion in the 800m, a 2x All-American, and the 2024 USTFCCCA Midwest Athlete of the Year.
Alaysia was also named the G-MAC Athlete of the Year for both the indoor and outdoor seasons in 2024. Over her career, Brooks earned 6x All-Region honors and 6x All-G-MAC selections. She holds 4 G-MAC championships and has set 8 Ursuline program records. Alaysia was named Ursuline College Athlete of the Year for three consecutive years.Â
Nationally, Brooks ends her career ranked 9th all-time in the 500m in NCAA history, 5th all-time in the 600m, and 11th all-time in the indoor 800m.
