Women's T&F Opens Season at Case

The Ursuline College Women's Track & Field Team opened up the 2025–2026 indoor season with two meets, competing at the Hillsdale Multi Meet and the CWRU 12th Annual Spartan Alumni Holiday Classic. The Arrows had multiple top performances throughout both meets.

Madison Sands led the Arrows at the Hillsdale Multi Meet, placing 12th overall in her first collegiate competition and scoring 2557 points between the five events in the pentathlon. Sands moves into 4th all-time in program history in the event. At Case Western, the Arrows had event winners on the day. KeYonna McGill won the 60m dash in 7.68 in her first meet for the Arrows. McGill moves into 2nd all-time in program history with that performance in her debut meet. Jocelyn Dornbirer won the 1000m in a time of 3:04.51 (converted to 3:02.00) with a new personal best by 4 seconds. Dornbirer moves into 2nd all-time in program history. Davinia Mireles Sanchez won the 500m in a time of 1:25.17, which is a new personal best by 3 seconds.

Eljoenai Wehl placed 2nd overall in the 400m dash in a time of 1:00.78 (converted to 59.99), and teammate Phebe Elliott finished 4th overall in a time of 1:01.81 (converted to 1:01.00) in her first collegiate meet. In the 800m, Kayla Kephart placed 2nd overall in a time of 2:32.28 (converted to 2:30.55), Kennedy Outland placed 3rd in a time of 2:33.10 (converted to 2:31.36), and Angelys Caballero placed 4th in a time of 2:35.79 (converted to 2:34.02).

Katie Lane placed 2nd overall in the 3000m in a time of 11:22.81 (converted to 11:17.01), which moves her into 5th all-time in program history in the event. Teammates Dominique Weisz placed 4th overall in a time of 11:34.32 (converted to 11:28.42), and right behind her was teammate Gisele Cabrera in a time of 11:55.26 (converted to 11:49.18) with a new personal best by over 7 seconds. Aaliyah Banks placed 5th overall in the 60m hurdles in a time of 9.64 in the finals to run a new collegiate personal best.

In the field events, Malicca Brown led the way with a 5th place finish in the long jump with a mark of 5.14m. Xyia West placed 7th overall in her collegiate debut in the shot put, marking finals and finishing with a best throw of 10.34m.

The 4x4 relay team of Wehl, McGill, Outland, and Elliott closed out the meet with a 2nd place finish in a time of 4:07.64 (converted to 4:04.40). The women's team closes out 2025 competition at Case Western and will return to competition after the new year at the University of Akron Al Campbell Invitational on January 16th.
