Pepper Pike--The United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced its 2026 All-Academic Teams and Individuals, with the Arrows earning several academic honors.
Savahnna Gyasi-Nimako and
Jocelyn Dornbirer were recognized as All-Academic Individuals. Gyasi-Nimako posted a 3.69 grade-point average, while Dornbirer finished the academic year with a 3.59 GPA.
Gyasi-Nimako finished among the top 50 competitors nationally in the triple jump and was the runner-up at the G-MAC Outdoor Track and Field Championships. She also earned third-place finishes in both the long jump and triple jump at the G-MAC Indoor Championships.
Dornbirer also finished among the top 50 nationally in the 800-meter dash. She became an NCAA provisional qualifier after posting a time of 2:12.90 at the G-MAC Indoor Track and Field Championships.
In addition to the individual honors, both the women's and men's track and field teams were recognized as USTFCCCA All-Academic Teams. The women's team recorded a 3.50 GPA, while the men's team posted a 3.24 GPA.
To qualify for the individual award, student-athletes must achieve a cumulative GPA of at least 3.25 and finish among the top 50 in their individual event, finish among the top 35 in a relay, or compete at the NCAA Indoor or Outdoor National Championships during the 2025-26 academic year.
For the team award, programs must post a cumulative GPA of at least 3.10 during the 2025-26 academic year.
