The Ursuline College Women's Track & Field team closed out the outdoor regular season at the Mount Union Classic. The Arrows saw multiple top performances across the two-day meet before the final two events were canceled due to thunderstorms in the area. On the track,
KeYonna McGill led the way with a 3rd place finish in the 400 meters, running a personal-best time of 56.80. Her mark also moves her into 3rd all-time in program history in the event.
Aaliyah Banks also earned a 3rd place finish in the 400m hurdles, clocking a personal-best 1:06.04 and moving into 5th all-time in program history. Banks added a 9th place finish in the 100m hurdles with a time of 15.80, just missing the finals by one spot.
Jocelyn Dornbirer placed 4th overall in the 800m with a time of 2:16.82. Additional personal and season-best performances included
Kennedy Outland (1:01.28) and Angelys Caballero (1:02.98, season best) in the 400m.
Katie Lane recorded a season-best 2:25.02 in the 800m, while
Dayahana Douglas posted a season-best 13.02 in the 100m. In the field events,
Kayla Kephart led the way with a 2nd place finish in the high jump, clearing 1.57 meters.
Adrianna Ruble and
Xyia West placed 13th and 14th in the shot put with marks of 10.65m and 10.59m. Both continued their strong performances in the hammer throw, with Ruble placing 13th (39.31m) and West recording a personal-best 30.04m. Ruble also added a personal best in the javelin with a throw of 26.98m. Complete results from the Mount Union Classic can be found here:
