HIGHLIGHTS:

• The Arrows opened up scoring in the bottom of the first when Bogden singled after a Herrera double to score. Bogden and Dalton went on to make the score 3-0 in the first.
• UC added in one more in both the second and third while Virginia Union got 2 runs on the board to make the score 5-2.
• The Arrows lit up the fourth inning with five total runs on six hits. The biggest being a triple by Bowles that drove in two.
• UC scored five runs on four hits in the bottom of the sixth inning, Barton tripled – scoring three runs, Herrera doubled – scoring one run, and Bogden doubled – scoring one run.

• Herrera collected five hits in five at bats. She tallied 2 RBI's, three doubles and three runs.  
• Bowles went four for four at bat, collecting four RBI's and adding in seven put outs in the field.
• Bogden had three RBI's, three assist and two put outs.

HIGHLIGHTS:

• After a scoreless first inning, Salem opened up scoring in the second with three runs on a bases loaded double hit. They followed up with four more later in the fifth inning.
• The Arrows got on the board in the sixth when Mohr and Bowles singled to get on bases. Evelyn Vallejo hit a double that sent Bowles and pinch runner, Sydni Taylor, running home.
• The Tigers added in one last run in the sixth to lock in their 3-8 win.
