The Ursuline College Track & Field team had a busy weekend. On Friday and Saturday, they split the team between the Baldwin Wallace Mid-February Meet and SPIRE Collegiate Games.
On Friday night at Baldwin Wallace on the track,
Dayahana Douglas won the 55-meters dash in 7.32.
Karrington Green placed second overall in the 55-meter hurdles with 9.23 in her first collegiate race. Coming in third place right behind her was teammate
Breanna Banks with 9.36 in the event.Â
In the field events,
Jennifer Beverly placed 5th overall with a season-best jump of 1.47m in the high jump.
Meghan Hodges led the way for the Arrows in the weight throw placing 9th with 11.74m.
Miranda Mowrey and
Arianna Wallace had good performances with 10.94m and 10.52m in the event.
On Saturday, the Arrows competed in the SPIRE Collegiate Games. On the track,
Alaysia Brooks led the way with an NCAA provisional mark in the 400 meters with 56.92. Brooks had a personal best on the day and improved her 4th all-time mark in school history.

Emma Esteves broke the school record by 31 seconds to win the meet and finished just 6 seconds off the NCAA provisional mark.
Douglas placed 16th in 200m with a season best time of 26.16.Â
Meghan Hodges moved into 5th all-time in school history with a personal best in weight throw with 12.61m.
Miranda Mowrey threw 11.32m for a personal best in the weight throw and
Jasmine Jamison had a huge personal best in the shot put with 11.31m.Â
The Arrows will be back in action on Friday with a small group at the Penn State Tune-Up. On Saturday, the team will be heading to the Mount Union Tune-Up in their last regular season competition before the G-MAC Championships.
