The Ursuline College softball team dropped a pair of road games at the University of Rio Grande (OH) on Saturday afternoon.  
 
Rio Grande took game one 10-7 and as well as game two 6-4. 

In game one, Sara Fessler scored first for the Arrows from a Baratta RBI in the first inning. Rio Grande went on a run of their own and scored three runs in the bottom of the inning. Ursuline sparked a 5-0 run in the second inning to make the score 6-3. But that was not enough to hold off the Red Storm as they held the Arrows scoreless in the third inning while adding four additional runs of their own. The Arrows would score once more from an RBI single from Jovanna Herrera. The University of Rio Grande took the first game 10-7.  

In game two, Sara Fessler scored again for the Arrows from an error by the shortstop. In the bottom of the first inning the Red Storm added a run of their own to tie the game at 1. The University of Rio Grande sparked a 3-1 outing in the second inning to make the game 4-2. Sara Fessler sends one over the right/center wall to tally another run in the top of the fifth. Jovanna Herrera also scored in the top of the fifth from a passed ball. The University of Rio Grande also took the second game 6-4.  

Ursuline will travel to Salem, West Virgina Thursday, March 17th at 5:30 pm to take on Salem University in a doubleheader with the first game starting at 3:30pm.
