Le Moyne College got the better of the Arrows, 10-2, in the 9:30 a.m. game but UC responded with a 12-4 five-inning victory over Roosevelt College in its final contest of the day.
Ursuline has won three of its last four games and evened its record at 4-4 overall.

Le Moyne 10, Ursuline 2Freshman pitcher Gina Rosshirt got the start and went five innings and allowed six runs on six hits. Sophomore Brittany Humbel relieved her for the final two frames and she allowed four runners to come around and score but only two of the runs were earned.
Freshman Leah Leshnack and senior Sam Roberts were both 1-3 with a stolen base and a run scored. Humbel was 1-3 with an RBI and sophomore Carly Hoffner drove in the other run.
Ursuline 12, Roosevelt 4The Arrows had 18 hits, the most in a game since the
23-0 win over the University of New Rochelle on March 14, 2012. UC also stole three bases and the run support was more than enough for sophomore pitcher Brittany Humbel who went all five innings in the circle and allowed four runs on eight hits. She didn't walk a batter and had three strikeouts.
Junior Alison Porter was 2-4 with a pair of runs scored. Sophomore Brigitte Snow was 2-3 with two runs scored and an RBI and her classmate Carly Hoffner was 3-4 with a double and a run scored.
Humbel was 2-3 at the plate. She scored twice and drove in three runs. Senior Sam Roberts went 2-2 and came around to score two runs. She had a stolen base and two RBIs.
Sophomore Kaitlin Krajcik was 2-3 with a double, a stolen base, a run scored and three RBIs. Freshman Leah Leshnack was 3-3 with a double, a stolen base and a run scored.
Sophomore Ashlie Brown and junior Danielle Almodiel were both 1-3.

Ursuline has three games remaining on its Spring Break trip, two of which will be played on Friday (March 13). The Arrows will take on
Principia College at 11:30 a.m. and
Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute right after.
Again, there is no host institution this week so box scores may be slow to trickle in but we will keep you posted on results as best we can through our social media platforms.
