PEPPER PIKE, Ohio – Junior Tara White's goal just before the half was the only score of the game and gave the host Arrows a 1-0 win over Tiffin University on Tuesday (Sep. 18).
With the win, Ursuline improved to 4-1 on the year while Tiffin fell to 2-2-1.
White's goal came on a ball from sophomore Anna Feitl and was her first tally of the season. She was responsible for two assists in last week's 6-1 win over Salem International University.
The Arrows dominated the first half and sent eight shots toward Tiffin goalkeeper Lindsey Gallagher. The local product made seven saves in her 45 minutes of action but White's goal made the difference.
Tiffin outshot the Arrows 8-3 in the second half but senior Rachael Smith made every stop to pick up her second shutout of the season.
After three matches at home, the Arrows head to the road on Saturday (Sep. 22) to take on
Marygrove College at 1:00 p.m.
