Pepper Pike, OH-- The Ursuline Arrows soccer team fell to Northwood, 2-0, in a nonconference matchup Thursday night.
Northwood struck first at 18:09, taking an early lead that it carried into halftime. The Timberwolves added an insurance goal in the 76th minute to secure the shutout victory.
Northwood controlled much of the match offensively, holding a 20-7 advantage in shots and putting 10 shots on goal compared to just one for the Arrows.
Despite the offensive power from the Timberwolves,
Laetitia Scheunemann made eight saves for Ursuline, finishing with an .800 save percentage.
Loreley Maier led the Arrows with three shots, while Samantha Young recorded Ursuline's lone shot on goal.
