Pepper Pike, OH--The Ursuline College soccer team fell to Great Midwest Athletic Conference opponent Tiffin University, 4-0, Thursday afternoon.
Tiffin (3-3-1, 1-2-0 G-MAC) struck early, finding the back of the net in the seventh minute to take a 1-0 lead. The Dragons added another goal in the 34th minute to take a two-goal advantage into halftime.
Ursuline (1-3-1, 0-2-0 G-MAC) recorded one shot in the opening half, while Tiffin registered five.
The second half remained scoreless until the 85th minute, when Tiffin extended its lead to 3-0. The Dragons added a fourth goal three minutes later on a converted penalty kick.
Tiffin finished the match with a 10-1 advantage in shots.
Fiona Rombach recorded Ursuline's lone shot of the contest.
Up next: The Arrows return to action next Thursday, traveling to North Canton, Ohio, to take on Walsh University in G-MAC play. Kickoff is scheduled for 3 p.m.
