Ursuline College Athletics

2013: All-Great Midwest Athletic Conference second team selection in her first season with the program…played in 118 sets over the course of 35 matches…finished fourth in the G-MAC in assists (961), good for 8.14 per set…finished fifth on the team with 136 kills (1.15 per set)…her .306 attack percentage was second best on the club…also second on the team in blocks (26) and service aces (39)…third on the team with 254 digs…recorded 10 double-doubles during the year, including a 14-kill, 28-assist, 12-dig triple-double against Ohio Valley on Nov. 9.

Owens Community College: Spent two seasons at Owens Community College in Rossford, Ohio, where she set school records for most assists in a match (64), season (1,516) and career (2,344)…her 1,516 helpers in 2012 ranked her third in the National Junior Collegiate Athletic Association (NJCAA) rankings at the conclusion of the season…during her two years at Owens, the Express amassed a 92-16 (.852) record and won the Ohio Community College Athletic Conference and Region XII district titles in both 2011 and 2012…team placed fourth at the 2012 NJCAA Division II National Volleyball Tournament, the same year she earned first team All-Ohio Community College Athletic Conference honors.

Anthony Wayne High School: Attended Anthony Wayne High School and was a standout in both basketball and volleyball…head volleyball coach Bill Henneman tutored her as she set the school record for most assists in a season in 2010 and she left Anthony Wayne at the top of the career assist list…was a two-time team captain and was named the ‘Most Valuable Player’ of both the 2009 and 2010 Anthony Wayne teams…also an all-league and all-district selection in 2010 as a result of helping her team to the sectional title…as a sophomore, she earned honorable mention status from the Northern Lakes League and then achieved second team status as a junior.

Personal: Born January 21, 1993 in Whitehouse, Ohio...daughter of Neil and Michelle Hilfinger...has two siblings: Dana and Casey… majoring in nursing…member of her high school’s honor roll all four years.
