Biography

2015: Played in 38 sets before having her season cut short due to injury...had 87 kills in 193 total attempts...also had a .290 hitting percentage...picked up a season-high 17 kills against Walsh on 9/15.

2014: Named to the G-MAC All Conference First Team...played in 104 sets over 27 matches...led team in blocks with 69 (20 solo, 49 assist)...led team in kills with 232 and had a conference best .362 hitting percentage which also ranked her 27th in all of NCAA Division II...Set a career-high in kills (17) against Ohio Valley (9/27). 

2013: Played in 111 sets over the course of 33 matches in her first season with the program…led the team with 51 blocks (20 solos, 31 assists)… finished third on the club with 188 kills while hitting .329, third best in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference…had 10 kills in three separate matches: against Bloomfield (Sep. 14), Oberlin (Oct. 23) and Kentucky Wesleyan (Nov. 1)…had a season-high five blocks against Rochester (Sep. 28) and Kentucky Wesleyan (Nov. 1)…also had four blocks against Kentucky Wesleyan (Oct. 5) and Trevecca Nazarene (Oct. 6)…dished out two assists against Notre Dame de Namur on Oct. 17…had three digs in six separate matches.

Shelby High School: Earned four varsity letters while playing for the Whippets…as a freshman in 2009, she earned the team’s ‘Most Improved Award’ and followed that up by earning honorable mention Northern Ohio League honors as a sophomore…in 2011, she played her way onto the Northern Ohio League first team and added All-District 6 third team accolades…during her senior season, she led her team to a 16-9 record…spent six years playing club volleyball and her Blackswamp squad, which also featured Ursuline recruits Sammi Marcum and Makayla Windau, won the OVR title in both 2012 and 2013. 

Personal: Born August 29, 1995 in Shelby, Ohio...daughter of Braden and the late Cris Adkinson...has two sisters: Cara Hall and Kendall Adkinson…intends to major in nursing…appeared on the Principal's Honor Roll all four years of high school...maintained a 4.3 grade point average...Scholar-Athlete Award recipient...received a "Superior Rating" at the state choir contest three different times.
