FIRST HALF 

• The first period was a battle with 6 lead changes, ending with UC in the lead 15-14.  

• Ajia Schreffler and Kailey Minch were the first to score, allowing the Arrows to be down by 1 point at the 8-minute mark.  

• After two and a half minutes of both teams not scoring, the Eagles were up 8-5, but Minch responded with back-to-back three-pointers giving the Arrows a 3-point lead.  

• The Eagles played consistent but fell short at the end of the first period, ending with a layup from Courtney Barwick to have a 1-point advantage.  

• The second quarter was a struggle for the Arrows, and the Eagles took advantage by dropping 29 points compared to the Arrows 9.  

• AU went 11-16 (68.8%) on the field compared to the Arrows with 3-16 (18.8%).  

• The first few minutes of the second quarter went back and forth with 3 lead changes, but the Arrows lost their rhythm, allowing the Eagles to go on a 20-point run. The inconsistency in this quarter was a huge contributor to the loss and not being able to come back in the second half.  

• Before the break, AU led 43-24.  

SECOND HALF  

• During the third quarter, Ashland outscored the Arrows 20-10.  

• Courtney Barwick led the Arrows in the third quarter, scoring 5 out of her 9 points on the night. 

• UC struggled to find the net, shooting 17.6% from the field compared to AU shooting 44.4%. 

• The Arrows fought hard to come back, but the Eagles gained such a huge lead from the second quarter, making it hard to change the momentum of the game. 

• The fourth quarter was more competitive with both teams scoring 14 points each. Ursuline shot 50% from the field, while the Eagles shot 33.3%.  

• The game ended in favor of the Eagles, 77-48.

• Allison Hufstedler went 2-3 from the field for the Arrows, adding 4 more points.
