The Ursuline College Track & Field team won multiple events on Saturday at University of Mont Union- John Homon Open.
Breanna Banks won the 400-meter hurdles in a new personal best of 1:06.37 to move into 4th all-time in program history. Banks placed 3rd over in the 100 meters hurdles with a time of 16.05, which her best time came from the preliminary round of 15.91.
Karrington Green placed 3rd overall in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 1:11.30 and placed 4th in the 100 meters hurdles with a time of 16.13, which her best time came in the preliminary round of 15.95.
Emma Esteves won the 1500 meters in a time of 4:52.58 and placed 3rd overall in the 800 meters with a new personal best of 2:27.04.
A'Zaria Thomas won the 800 meters with a new personal best of 2:15.01, which moves her to 4th all-time in program history.
Jocelyn Dornbirer finished 2nd in the 800 meters with a time of 2:22.01.
Alaysia Brooks won the 400 meters in a time of 56.37.
Dayahana Douglas placed 2nd overall in the 100 meters with a time of 12.65, which her best time came from the preliminary round of 12.58. Savannah Gyasi-Nimako won the long jump in a jump of 5.33m and placed 3rd in the 200m with a time of 27.23.
Miranda Mowrey won the javelin in 31.45m just .01 her career best performance in the event.
Arianna Wallace placed 3rd in the discus throw with a throw on 38.65.
Claryssa Panayotti placed 7th overall in hammer throw with a huge personal best of 38.09m.
Jasmine Jamison placed 7th overall in shot put with throw of 10.70m.
The 4x100m relay team of Green, Gyasi-Nimako,
Malicca Brown, Douglas won the event with a season best time of 49.54. The 4x400m relay team of Banks, Brooks, Dornbirer, and Thomas won the event as well with a season best time of 3:59.55.
Multiple Arrows saw success personal best and good performance at the meet this weekend. Dominque Weisz had a personal best in the 800m with her 4th finish with 2:29.76.
Kayla Kephart saw an outdoor personal best time with her 2:34.31 to place 7th and
Angelys Caballero had a huge personal best by 6 seconds with a time of 2:34.79 to place 8th in the 800m.
Emma Smith place 4th in the 3000-meter steeplechase with a time of 13:46.68. In the long jump the Arrows had placed 4-6 with
Brianna Hollie jumping 4.75m,
Malicca Brown mark of 4.64m, and
Mya Knight with 4.61m.
The Arrows will return to competition on Saturday, April 20 at the 54th annual Sparky Adam's Invitational hosted by Baldwin Wallace University.
