The Ursuline College track & field team traveled to Ashland University on Saturday to compete in the Jud Logan Light Giver Open in honor of Ashland Head Track & Field Coach Jud Logan who passed away from COVID-19 this past January.
The Arrows were led by a fifth place performance in the 4x400m relay. The team of
Dayahana Douglas,
Alaysia Brooks,
Autumn Burgess, and
Elyse Kelley finished with a time of 4:09.22.
A'Zaria Thomas had new personal record in the mile with a time of 5:22.36 to improve her second all-time mark in school history in that event.
Emma Esteves had a new personal record in the 3000 meter with a time of 10:43.49 to improve her second all-time mark in school history in the 3000 meter event.
Brooks had a solid performance in the 400m with a time of 100.18 and had the best individual finish at the meet finishing 16th overall for the team.
Ciani Kensey had a season-best time in the 800m with 2:33.08.
The Arrows compete at Baldwin Wallace University on Friday, February 11th for their next meet.
