Soccer Drops Season Opener on the Road at Tiffin

The Ursuline College soccer team dropped a 1-0 decision on the road Thursday afternoon in Tiffin as they opened play for the 2021 Spring season. 

The Dragons scored off a deflection in the 15th minute of the game for the contests only score. 

In the game, Tiffin outshot Ursuline 15-2 and 7-1 in shots on goal. 

Senior goalkeeper Gina Cerny notched six saves in the loss. With her six saves, Cerny became the all-time leader in saves in program history with 309. 

Ursuline will travel to Ohio Dominican University on Thursday, March 18 to take on the Panthers are 6:00 PM.
