The Ursuline College soccer team fell to visiting Kentucky Wesleyan 2-1 on a goal in the final four minutes in their home opener on Thursday afternoon in Pepper Pike.
 
The Arrows opened the scoring in the 22^nd minute when freshman Kat Leeper found Odessa Strizzi off the rebound to make it 1-0. For Strizzi, it was her first goal since 2018 after suffering a season-ending injury in 2019.
 
In the 66^th minute, Kentucky Wesleyan tied the match on a goal from Bree Owen from a pass from Natalie Hinchcliffe.
 
The Panthers struck for the game-winning goal in the 86^th minute when Madisyn Hunt found the back of the net to make it 2-1 with under four minutes to play.
 
Ursuline outshot Kentucky Wesleyan 23-16 in the game and held a 6-5 edge on corner kicks.
 
The Arrows will remain home on Saturday as they host Trevecca Nazarene at 1:00 PM.
