The Ursuline College Track & Field team added additional accomplishments to their opening weekend as they competed at Case Western Reserve University on Saturday.
Sophomore, Elyse Kelly led the way with winning the preliminary round of the 60m dash with a time of 8.14. Kelley continued her day with a 4th place finish in the 400m and 2nd place finish in the 200m with a time of 27.66. Kelly had the fastest time of the day in the 60m dash, but didn't run the finals of the 60m dash.Â
Autumn Burgess returned back in action after competing yesterday at YSU and turned in a 5th place finish in the long jump with a new indoor track personal best mark of 4.82m.
Meghan Hodges had a good season opener in the weight throw finishing 13th overall in 11.29m, this was just .7 off from her collegiate best performance.
Kayla Childs finished 9th in the triple jump with 9.54m, her second best career jump.Â
Emma Smith had a good performance in the 3k with an indoor track personal best time of 12:51.92, finishing 5th overall.
Mary Thomas had a indoor track personal best in the mile with a time of 6:08.48.
