Ursuline College Track & Field traveled to compete at Youngstown State with eight athletes on Friday afternoon.

A'Zaria Thomas each had a great showing in the first meet of the season.
Emma Esteves finished 2nd overall in the 3k with a 3rd All-Time performance in school history with 10:50.63.
Maya Harper finished 4th overall in the 800m with 2:24.67 missing a top 5 performance in school history by .19.
A'Zaria Thomas finishes 4th overall in the mile run with the 2nd All-Time performance in school history 5:23.97. Thomas had a personal best by 13 seconds.
Chriselee Hendricks had a great day advancing from the qualifying preliminary round of 60m dash with 7.88. She equaled that same performance in the semifinals finishing 14th overall. Hendricks had a good 200m run in 26.79.
Karla Hormazabal finished 9th overall in the triple jump with a 4th All-Time performance in school history with a best jump 10.85m.
Alaysia Brooks had a indoor track personal best time in the 800m with 2:28.98 and finished 12th overall.
Autumn Burgess had a indoor personal best time in the 200m with 26.03 finishing 14th overall.

Maya Harper placed 7th overall with a time of 4:07.67.
"We had a great team performances with a small group of ladies. YSU Icebreaker has a lot of good Division I, II and II talent and our ladies represented Ursuline College well today. I'm proud of our coaching staff on getting the ladies ready to perform at high level for an early season meet." said Coach Best.
