Julia Cardwell scored with one second remaining in a 69-67 win over Quincy in Illinois.

Ursuline's offense was efficient right out of the gates as they scored 29 points in the opening quarter to build a 29-13 advantage over Quincy.

Alyssa Evans made an immediate impact in the first quarter in her first collegiate start as she scored seven points including a pair of three-pointers. She finished with 12 points on 4-of-9 shooting from the field.

Sam Jenkins scored seven points and picked up a steal and grabbed four rebounds in her first start with the Arrows.

Julia Cardwell scored 12 points, including the game-winner, and hit a pair of three-pointers late in the fourth quarter to help push the Arrows lead out to 10 entering the final quarter. This was the second game-winner for Cardwell in her career as she beat the buzzer with a three-pointer last season against Mercyhurst at home.Â

Sophomore Bekah Green provided a spark with 12 points on 4-of-9 shooting from the floor and 3-for-4 from the free throw line. She dished out four assists which was tied with senior
Ky Crevison for the team high.

Four players scored in double figures for Ursuline led by sophomore Bekah Green who finished with a career-high 18 points including the game-tying layup in the final minute.

Ursuline shot 39 percent (25-for-64) from the field and went 9-for-29 from behind the three-point line. The Arrows were 10-of-17 from the charity stripe.

Quincy shot 34 percent (24-of-70) as a team and went 5-of-16 from the three-point line and 14-of-20 from the free throw line.

The Hawks won the rebounding battle 47-41 including 17-11 on the offensive end while each team committed 16 turnovers.
