Ursuline took a 6-5 lead with 5:47 to play in the opening quarter on a layup from senior
Camryn Hill which sparked a 10-0 run for the Arrows over the next 3:30 to make it 16-5 late in the first quarter.

The Arrows led 21-10 after one with the 10 points being the second fewest given up in a quarter this season by the Ursuline defense.

Ursuline continued its run in the second quarter when sophomore
Carly Koncz hit a three-pointer with just under 8:00 to play in the half to make it 26-16. Â Hill and Koncz then hit back-to-back triples to make it 32-19 with 6:13 to play in the half.

Alderson Broaddus pulled to within seven at 60-53 late in the third quarter but the Ursuline defense sparked another run capped off by a jumper by junior
Paige Salisbury to make it 69-57 with 7:46 to play in the game.

Laney Lewis recorded her NCAA Division II leading third triple-double of the season in the win over Alderson Broaddus.

The senior finished with 18 points on 5-for-9 shooting and 8-for-8 from the free throw line while grabbing 17 rebounds and dishing out 11 assists while also blocking three shots and grabbing two steals.

RECORDS ARE MADE….

Continuing her already record-breaking season, Lewis became the all-time leader in assists in a season with 144 in program history surpassing Brianna Woods who had 137 in 2012-13.
Â
In her 108-game career, Lewis has now dished out 394 career assists. The program record for assists in a career also belongs to Woods who has 476.

STILL STREAKING

Lewis scored in double-figures for the 39
th consecutive game dating back to December, 2016.

She also pulled down her NCAA Division II leading 17
th double-double of the year.

In their last two games, Lewis and Hill have combined for 90 points on 30-for-56 (54 percent) from the floor including 8-for-15 from the three-point line. The duo has also grabbed 43 rebounds and blocked seven shots.

FREE THROW EFFECTIVENESS

Ursuline went 13-for-15 from the charity stripe in the game against Alderson Broaddus. In the last two games, the Arrows are 29-for-35 from the free throw line and are shooting 73 percent from the line on the season.
