Ursuline's senior front court duo of
Camryn Hill and
Laney Lewis combined for 30 points in the first half to help pace the Arrows to their 11
th Great Midwest win of the season.

Leading 11-9, sophomore
Julia Cardwell buried a three-pointer to make it 14-9 and Lewis followed with a layup to make it 16-9 in favor of the Arrows with under six minutes to play in the first quarter.

Lewis followed with another layup in the paint and connected on a three-pointer to build the lead to 18-9 late in the first. The Arrows held a 26-16 lead at the end of the first quarter.

Ursuline's lead reached as many as 15 in the second quarter, however, Lake Erie scored the final four points of the half to make it 46-35 at the break.

Despite a slow third quarter, the Arrows outscored Lake Erie 21-17 over the final 10 minutes of play to seal the win.

FRONT COURT DOMINIANCE

Hill and Lewis finished with 50 of the 81 points for the Arrows on 16-for-30 from the field. The duo combined to hit 5-for-10 from the arc and grabbed 20 rebounds.

The two were also 13-14 from the free throw line.

JUST MISSED
Â
Lewis, who already leads the nation in triple-doubles, narrowly missed her third of the season as she finished with 22 points, 12 rebounds and 9 assists.

She also blocked two shots and grabbed three steals in 38 minutes of play and was a perfect 6-for-6 from the free throw line.

SECOND CHANCE SUCCESS
Â
Ursuline took advantage of 15 offensive rebounds by scoring 15 second chance points in Saturday's win.

STILL STREAKING
Â
Lewis extended her double-figure scoring streak to 38 games dating back to December 31, 2016 when she scored just eight points against Notre Dame College.

STAYING IN THE HUNT
Â
Ursuline currently sits in second place in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference as the month of January winds down.

The Arrows trail Cedarville by one game and the two teams will meet again later in February.
