Ursuline and Ohio Dominican both came out of the gates scoring the basketball in the opening minutes of the game as they traded baskets.

After the Panthers pulled to within a bucket at 8-6, the Arrows went on a 12-3 run highlighted by a pair of three pointers from sophomores
Carly Koncz and
Ky Crevison to put Ursuline on top 19-9 with 2:54 to play in the quarter.

Morgan Mattimore buried a jumper in transition to make it 23-11 and the Arrows held a 23-15 advantage after one.

Ohio Dominican closed the gap in the second quarter with 8:44 remaining as they pulled to within five at 26-21 but a jumper by senior
Laney Lewis and free throws from senior
Camryn Hill build the lead back to nine at 30-21.

Ursuline held a 45-36 lead at the intermission.

DYNAMIC DUO

In the second half, Hill and Mattimore combined to score 27 of the 60 points for Ursuline on 12-for-17 shooting from the floor.

Hill finished with a team-high 23 points and went 7-for-10 from the free throw line while Mattimore had 18 points and was 6-for-8 from the charity stripe.

SPRINT TO THE FINISH

Ursuline was outscored 33-30 in the final quarter as both teams were hitting from the field. The Arrows were 7-for-13 from the floor in the final frame while the Panthers were 12-for-24.

The difference came when Ursuline went 14-for-18 from the foul line over the final 10 minutes to seal their 13
th win of the season.

The 32 free throws were the most that Ursuline has shot in a game this season and the most since shooting 42 against Alderson Broaddus last year. Ursuline finished 24-for-32 from the line with the 24 makes being the most this season.Â
STILL STREAKINGÂ
Lewis scored in double-figures for the 36th consecutive game dating back to last year and also grabbed her 16th double-double of the season which leads NCAA Division II. She now has 44 career double-doubles in 103 games.Â
She finished with 18 points and pulled down 17 rebounds while blocking five shots and dishing out seven assists and grabbing four steals.Â

Lewis finished with a season-high five blocks in the game and she is the all-time leader in program history with 176 blocks in 102 games after tonight.

ACTIVE HANDS
Â
The Arrows defense grabbed a season-high 12 steals in tonight's win with Lewis and junior
Paige Salisbury each picking up four while Mattimore finished with three steals.
