The Ursuline College soccer team will host a pair of Great Midwest matches on Thursday and Saturday this week against Davis & Elkins and Alderson Broaddus.
 
The Arrows will host the Senators in a re-match of the 2016 Great Midwest Tournament Championship game on Thursday afternoon at 3:30pm while the Battlers will come to town on Saturday for a 2:30pm kick-off.
 
Ursuline is coming off a 4-3 loss on the road at Findlay last Saturday in which they fell behind 3-1 in the early part of the match before pulling within 3-2 before the half. Senior Steph Chlad scored a pair of goals for the Arrows giving her five on the year which matches her total from 2016.
 
Davis & Elkins is coming off its second Great Midwest tie of the early season as they played to a 1-1 tie with Malone last weekend. The Senators enter play on Thursday seeking their first victory of 2017.
 
Ursuline won the previous meeting in Pepper Pike last year 2-1 while Davis & Elkins won the match up in West Virginia 1-0 before their meeting in the G-MAC finals.
 
On Saturday, Ursuline will host Alderson Broaddus who will be coming off a match against Lake Erie on Thursday.
 
The Battlers have opened conference play with a pair of ties against Davis & Elkins and Malone before falling 4-0 at home to Walsh last weekend.
 
Ursuline won both meetings between the two squads in 2016.
 
The Arrows remain home next week for meetings with Malone and Walsh on Thursday and Saturday.
