The Ursuline College basketball team won its 14
th consecutive game 100-47 on the road over Alderson Broaddus on Thursday evening.
With the win, the Arrows magic number to clinch the G-MAC Regular Season Championship for the second straight season is down to one.
Ursuline used a 7-0 run early in the first quarter sparked by a layup from senior
Erica Huber and a three-pointer from junior
Camryn Hill to take a 12-4 lead and they did not look back.
The Arrows held the Battlers to just 10 points in the opening quarter and led 19-10 after one.

Laney Lewis opened up the second quarter with back-to-back buckets to make it 23-10 and Hill added another layup as the lead ballooned to 15 with 7:39 to play in the first half. Freshman
Carly Koncz hit one of her five three-pointers off the bench to close out the half with Ursuline leading 40-19.
The Arrows defense held Alderson Broaddus to just nine points in the second and third quarter.
Ursuline shot 56 percent (33-for-59) from the field and were 12-for-22 from behind-the-arc while also going 22-for-23 at the free throw line. Alderson Broaddus shot 36 percent (19-for-53) from the field and went 4-for-15 from three and turned the ball over 24 times while Ursuline had just 10 miscues.
The Arrows had six players finish in double figures led by Hill who had 18 points on 6-for-9 from the floor while Huber added 16 points including 4-for-6 from three. Lewis finished with 14 points on a perfect 7-for-7 from the floor while Koncz had a career-high 15 points on 5-for-6 from the arc. Sophomore

Gabby Kline had 10 points each while Kline went 8-for-8 from the free throw line.
Ursuline has now posted back-to-back 20-win seasons for the first time in program history and eclipsed the 100-point mark twice this season. The Arrows have also won 25 straight G-MAC games dating back to the 2015-16 season.
Ursuline will travel to Davis & Elkins on Saturday afternoon for a tough road match-up with the Senators who nearly knocked off second-place Malone on Thursday. The Arrows won the first match-up between the two schools back in early January 92-72 in Pepper Pike.
