The Ursuline College basketball team won its program and G-MAC record 13
th straight game with an 82-39 victory over visiting Ohio Valley on Saturday afternoon.

The Arrows and Fighting Scots were tied 6-6 with 8:13 to play in the first quarter before a layup from junior
Laney Lewis made sparked a 5-0 mini-run to help build an 11-6 lead. The Arrows led 13-10 after the first quarter.

The Scots pulled to within one at 17-16 at the 7:28 mark of the second quarter but the Arrows closed the second quarter on a 19-0 run that started with a layup from junior
Camryn Hill as well as a layup and three-pointer from sophomore
Brigan Wymer. Ursuline held Ohio Valley scoreless the final 7:00 of the first half to take a 37-16 lead into the break.

Ursuline outscored Ohio Valley 45-23 in the second half after allowing just four-points in the second quarter.

The Arrows shot 47 percent (31-for-66) from the field including 6-for-19 from behind-the-arc and were also 14-for-17 from free throw line while Ohio Valley shot 32 percent (15-for-47) from the field and were 0-for-10 from the arc. The Arrows defense forced 30 turnovers and allowed the least amount of points in a game this season defensively.

Ursuline was led by sophomore
Natalie Koenig who finished with 15 points while Lewis, Wymer and Hill all finished with 14 points each. Junior
Camille Gist added nine points off the bench and sophomore
Kelsey Michaels had six points. Sophomore
Christiana Jefferson had seven assists and one turnover as she still leads all of NCAA Division II and the G-MAC in Assist-to-turnover ratio.

The Arrows will travel to West Virginia starting on Thursday with a match-up against Alderson Broaddus on Thursday at 5:15 PM. Ursuline won the first meeting 83-66 back on January 7 in Pepper Pike.
