The Ursuline College lacrosse team suffered a 19-13 setback on the road on Wednesday evening at Baldwin Wallace University.

The Arrows got out to a quick lead in the opening two minutes of the game when sophomore
Cydney Bartlett found the back of the net to make it 1-0.

Baldwin Wallace answered with three unanswered goals to take a 3-1 advantage before junior
Breana Cervantes scored to make it 4-2 at the 11 minute mark in the first half. Freshman
Hayley Mazreku scored to close the gap to 5-3 midway through the first half but the Yellow Jackets scored five straight goals to take an 11-4 lead at the break.

Mazreku opened the scoring in the second half for Ursuline to make it 11-5, but Baldwin Wallace scored two goals with a man advantage to make it 16-6 with 15 minutes to play. The Arrows would rally and get three straight goals from freshman
Abigail Neeley, junior
Maddie Kipp and back-to-back goals from Mazreku to cut the deficit to 17-10.

Ursuline was outshot 44-19 in the game and junior goalkeeper Lauren Goal made 16 saves. The Yellow Jackets picked up 16 groundballs compared to 11 for the Arrows.

Mazreku finished with five goals to bring her season total to a G-MAC leading 33 while Bartlett finished with three goals and Neeley added a pair.

The Arrows will be off until Sunday, April 17 when they travel to Siena Heights for a final tune-up before conference play begins on April 14.Â
