The Ursuline College lacrosse team made it two straight wins to start the season after an 18-13 win over the University of Montevallo in a game played in Huntsville, Alabama on Monday evening.

Cydney Bartlett got the Arrows on the scoreboard first at the 27:31 mark of the first half off an assist from junior
Maddie Kipp to put Ursuline in front 1-0. After Montevallo tied the game, Kipp broke the tie on an assisted goal to make it 2-1 and junior
Breana Cervantes extended the lead to 3-1 less than 40 seconds later.

Freshman
Abigail Neeley scored three of her four goals and G-MAC Athlete of the Week freshman
Hayley Mazreku added a pair of her own goals to make it 7-2. Montevallo pulled to within 11-9 before Kipp and junior
Sarah Kiefer found the net to make it 13-9.

Kipp finished with seven goals to lead Ursuline and Neeley added four. Mazreku finished with a pair of goals while Kiefer,
Grace Savage,
Anika Aberegg, Cervantes and Bartlett all scored a goal.

Ursuline is back in action again tomorrow in Huntsville as they will take on the University of Alabama-Huntsville at 3:00 PM CST/4:00 PM EST.
