The Ursuline College lacrosse team fell behind in the first half and eventually fell 20-10 on the road at the University of Alabama-Huntsville on Tuesday evening.

The Arrows got on the board first when sophomore
Cydney Bartlett scored on an assist from junior
Maddie Kipp to make it 1-0. Alabama Huntsville went on to score eight unanswered goals to take an 8-1 lead before junior
Anika Aberegg found the back of the net to make it 8-2.

Ursuline trailed 16-3 at the half but outscored Alabama-Huntsville 7-4 in the second half to close the gap.

Aberegg finished with three goals as did freshman
Hayley Mazreku to lead the Arrows. Kipp added two goals while freshman
Abigail Neeley and Bartlett each added a goal.

The Arrows were outshot 35-19 in the game and picked up 33 groundballs. Junior goalkeeper
Lauren Cole picked up 10 saves.

Ursuline will be back in action on Friday, March 11 when they travel down the road to take on Notre Dame College at 4:00 PM.Â
