The Ursuline College basketball team improved to 19-3 on the season and 7-2 in the G-MAC with a 72-48 win over visiting Ohio Valley on Thursday evening inside the Seidman Gymansium. The Arrrows have now won nine of their last 10 games and are 12-2 at home this season.

Brigan Wymer followed it with a three of her own to build the early lead.

Natalie Koenig buried another triple later in the quarter to make it 11-0 and finished off the run with a layup on a fast break. Ursuline led 28-3 at the end of the first quarter.
Both offenses struggled in the second quarter as Ohio Valley outscored Ursuline 13-12 in the frame but still trailed 40-16 at the break.
In the third quarter, Ursuline extended the lead to 44-16 after back-to-back layups from Wymer and junior
Erica Huber. Ursuline took a 58-32 lead after three quarters.
The Arrows were led by Lewis who finished with 19 points on 7-for-13 shooting and was a perfect 5-for-5 from the free throw line. She also had three steals and two blocked shots. Wymer, the reigning G-MAC Athlete of the Week, finished with 15 points and had three steals and was 4-for-4 from the line. Huber added 14 points on 4-for-11 from the floor and had two assists and two steals.
Ursuline as a team shot 35 percent (25-for-71) from the floor and went 5-for-21 from behind the three-point line while Ohio Valley was 18-for-65 from the floor and 3-for-18 from behind-the-arc. The Arrows shot a season-best 17-for-18 from the free throw line and won the rebounding battle 51-40. Ohio Valley turned the ball over 20 times while Ursuline committed 17 miscues.
The Arrows will play their final regular season home game on Saturday afternoon at 2:00 PM when they host Salem International University. Ursuline won the first meeting 72-51 in West Virginia earlier this season. The game will be streamed live with both video and audio on the UC Sports Network.
