The Ursuline College basketball opened their new home gym by hitting the century mark in a 100-69 win over visiting Lake Erie College on Tuesday night.

The Arrows (2-0) trailed 14-13 in the first quarter before a steal by redshirt sophomore Laney Lewis (Lynchburg/Lynchburg Clay) led to an easy lay-up followed by a three-pointer from freshman Brigan Wymer (Delta/Delta) Ursuline in front 18-14 and sparked a 9-0 run.

A lay-up by sophomore Camryn Hill (Strongsville/Strongsville) and a pair of free throws by Lewis capped the run and gave the Arrows a 22-14 lead late in the first.

Leading 28-18 after one, Ursuline picked right back up where they left off in the second quarter on the offensive end when freshman Natalie Koenig (Waueson/Waueson) buried a three-pointer to make it 31-18.
